Katy Perry Drops Hint That She's Taylor Swift's Enemy In Song 'Bad Blood'
Early this week, Taylor Swift admitted to her intense dislike for a female singer in the biz. The country crooner didn't drop any names but her single "Bad Blood" could offer a hint or two about who she's referring to. Yet, early today, Katy Perry dropped a hint on Twitter which could mean Swift's song was about her.
Are Katy Perry and Taylor Swift on the verge of a big feud? Well, both singers haven't dropped names but their actions certainly state a lot. For her Rolling Stones interview, the country crooner talked about her "angriest" song in her upcoming album, "1989."
Unlike her albums that contained songs about her exes, one song in her album was meant for an enemy in the business. "Bad Blood" as it is entitled is about Swift's number one nemesis in the music industry.
"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?' I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational - you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it," stated Swift.
Though the country crooner clearly didn't drop names, someone reacted via the social media. Singer and songwriter Katy Perry sort of hinted that she's the "enemy" Swift has referred to. Using a "Mean Girls" reference, Katy Perry tweeted: "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..."
Of course, Perry's tweet could have been meant for someone else. While Swift and Perry have remained mum on the reports, their fan base are at each other's throat on social media sites.
