After her traumatic breakup with Comedian Russell Brand, Katy Perry is definitely back in the market after months of dating soulful Singer John Mayer. The two have already been seen hanging out as a couple in public.

While the bitter ending to the pop star's marriage did not seem to faze her, Roar hitmaker Perry is ready to venture to the married life-once again with boyfriend Mayer.

As if making it known to public was not announcing the certainty of marriage, the pop singer had already been telling to her friends that her boyfriend is soon to pop the question and she would undauntedly give that sweet "yes" to him.

"Katy is so happy with John. She's been telling all her friends that she thinks he's going to pop the question - and she'll definitely say yes," a reliable source close to Perry said.

Mayer is equally not a newbie in the dating game. The soulful singer has also his fair share of bitter breakups. It was reported that Taylor Swift's "Dear John" is allegedly aimed toward Mayer and their failed relationship.

"He's dated a few famous women but he's never felt this way about anyone before. The only thing is, he wants her to calm down a bit. She's really wild and such a party girl at heart, so he's told her to be a bit more responsible," another reliable source to Mayer said.

The two had been in the dating scene since August 2012 but broke up shortly in March 2013. Mayer got back with the pop singer after Perry admitted that it was her fault for the breakup during an interview in Vogue magazine.

Could it be the sound of ringing church bells we're hearing for the couple or another false alarm? Can Perry get her second marriage right? I guess 2014 is the lucky year to find out.
