Pop superstar Katy Perry ditched her cool candy hues and crazy hairstyles for a chic and classy look for her latest photo shoot.

The 27-year-old singer posed in a smoldering photo op for Good Hair Days. The black and white-themed photos were taken by fashion photographer and ex supermodel Ellen von Unwerth in Los Angeles, California.

The first image shows Katy Perry swinging using a chandelier. Another photo shows Katy looking at her beautiful reflection on the mirror. The last image showed Katy Perry playing chess with an unseen opponent.

This is the third time for chameleon-like Katy Perry to be the face of GHD. Her first pictures for the company was in 2011 featured the Californian girl as a dramatic Snow White character shot by David LaChapelle. February of this year Katy posed as a shimmering mermaid complete with purple hair and a sequin covered tail.

"It was fun to go a more natural route after playing characters in my last ghd campaign. Ellen von Unwerth captured both the playful and chic looks amazingly well," Katy Perry said.

The singer is currently dating singer John Mayer. While her estranged husband Russell Brand is reported to be getting serious with girlfriend Isabella Brewster. The two parted amicably early this year. Their divorce was finalized last month.

Katy and John were seen hanging out recently at a pool party at Hollywood Hills and Star magazine captured their sweet dip in the water.

"There was major chemistry between them. He was looking down her bikini top, and they were French kissing really passionately. It was like they were on a honeymoon!" A source told the magazine.

"John and Katy were all over each other. They were holding hands and kissing the entire time. Even in the pool, they stuck together nonstop," the source quickly added
