Katy Perry "Roars" on the Sunrise show at the Sydney Opera House for the Aussie promo of her "PRISM" album.

Like a ray of light, she shined brightly in the morning show as she performed her hit songs including "Roar," "Unconditionally," "Firework," "Teenage Dream" and "California Gurls."

Katy briefly chatted with Sunrise hosts David Koch and Samantha Armytage.

"This is a nice welcome right in front of the Opera House and the bridge," said Katy.

"It's unlike any other background I have ever had. It is so amazing and beautiful and I just love coming to Sydney," she added.

Ever the professional, Katy also mentioned that she woke up really early, at around 4:30 am just to prepare for her performance at the Sunrise show.

A live audience of up to 1,000 people reportedly trooped to the venue to see Katy perform her new songs and her biggest hits.

Katy wore a green, white and black colored cape over a white sleeveless top that exposed her toned abs and white miniskirt that showed off her amazing legs.

The singer revealed on August 25, 2013 at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards the reason why she chose "PRISM" as the title of her newest album.

"I actually finally let the light in and then I was able to create all these songs that were inspired by letting the light in and doing some self-reflection and just kind of working on myself," Katy explained.

The revelation was made at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York (NY).

"PRISM" was produced by Katy Perry and Greg Wells. It was mixed by Serban Ghenea at MixStar Studios, in Virginia Beach, Virginia (VA) and engineered for Mix by John Hanes. The album was also engineered by Ian MacGregor at Rocket Carousel Studio in Los Angeles, California (CA).

Other songs from "PRISM" include "Birthday," "Legendary Lovers," "Dark Horse," featuring Juicy J, "Walking on Air," "International Smile," "This is How We Do," "Ghost," "This Moment," "Love Me," "Double Rainbow," and "By the Grace of God."

A Deluxe version of "PRISM" is also available. It has bonus tracks such as "Choose Your Battles," "It Takes Two" and "Spiritual."

After Katy Perry's "Roaring" performance at the Sydney Opera House for the Aussie promo of her "PRISM" album, she will head to Japan to continue her promotional tour around the world.
