One of the most controversial breakups of the start of 2012, the marriage of Katy Perry and Russell Brand, has a few more doors to go through before finally putting a closure to the love they once shared with the public.

The two are meeting up from some 'crisis talks' in LA as a result of Brand's filing of divorce last December 30. He flew straight from his vacation in his native country Britain to spend some time discussing all the details of their separation. There have been some news though that makes an assumption that while the comedian is ever ready to move on after their 14 months of being a married couple, pop icon Katy Perry is hoping to mend their broken ties.

According to a close friend of the couple, Brand saw it as a good time to settle things finally since he was to attend the Golden Globes 2012 as well. Their friend also confirmed that all the stuff of Brand is being moved out of their marital house and into a brand new rented place of the writer-actor.

The Sunday Mirror newspaper also reported that the parents of Katy Perry have flown all the way from Georgia to comfort their daughter in LA who has not been able to attend also the recent People's Choice Awards 2012. According to the pastor parents of Perry, their daughter has been trying to balance the present situation but surely has been very difficult for her to go through.

There are spreading news too with Katy's parents trying to reach Brand to let them know how much they love him as well.
