After the smash hit 'Part of Me,' Katy Perry is all set once again to debut a new song at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards.

The awards show will be aired live from Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 2o via the ABC Television Network. The song was made in time for her upcoming 3D film, 'Katy Perry: Part of Me.'

Over the past four years, Katy Perry has been known to be one of the most successful pop stars of her time. The 'Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection' features three new songs.

Other artists who will also share the Billboard Music Awards stage are Justin Bieber, LMFAO, Kelly Clarkson, The Wanted, Linkin Park, Cee-Lo Green, Nelly Furtado, Usher and Carrie Underwood.

In 2011, Katy Perry made history by becoming the only woman to have five No. 1 singles (from one album) on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. And this year, the singer has another chart-topper with her first single on the special edition album.

Perry's 'Teenage Dream' album started at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart two years ago and it has sold 2.2 million copies as per the study made by the Nielsen Soundscan in the US.

More acts for the said event will be announced within this week.
