The "Dark Horse" singer pulls off green colour like a princess. She dyed her hair slime green to welcome spring. Also, reportedly, the stunning singer is letting rip about ex-boyfriend John Mayer.

Talking to E! News on March 29 at 35th Anniversary Gala of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, Katy Perry expressed her desire to go slime green.

"I've wanted to go slime green for a long time," said Katy, adding, "It's spring time and I think it's time to freshen up my look."

On April 8, Katy Perry posted a photograph on her Instagram page showcasing her brand new hairdo.

"SLIME GREEN FOR SPRING by my bb's @neeenaboo & @brantmayfield at the @mcmillansalon," Katy captioned her photo.

Katy Perry is Allegedly "Letting Rip" About Ex-boyfriend John Mayer

This February, John Mayer and Katy Perry split after reports surfaced that he cheated on her. Both Katy and John have not spoken about their breakup in public, but according to a report on Independent, "Birthday" singer has been letting it out.

An insider told "Heat" (British magazine) that Katy's letting rip.

"Everything from his over-the-top metrosexuality - the waxing, the man-scara, the cashmere cardigans - right through to the size of his manhood," added the insider.

According to the Web site, Katy had no issues whatsoever discussing the private details of her part relationship with her buddies. Her friends believe that letting it out is beneficial for the star.

"Katy's pulling no punches in trash talking him. And frankly, he deserves it for what he did and the lies he told her - wanting to get married while carrying on with other women behind her back."

In the past, Katy revealed that she wants to get John Mayer out of her life for good and she even consulted a hypnotherapist for the same.
