Katy Perry in her blue hair was first seen in a photo taken with a fan in Santa Barbara. According to E!, The fan took a photo with her as she was about to leave from a set of a commercial. Even if the colour blue may symbolize the blues, the fan said that the artist seemed happy.

The fan shared with The Sun that Perry even made her own van stop just to give him a hug, took two pictures and thanked him personally for all the support. Rita Hazan, the assigned colourist of Perry's hair, said that the colour change does not have anything to do with the recent breakup she had with ex hubby, Russell Brand.
