Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West have been very vocal about their desire to have another child. Kim has mentioned how much she wants to give her daughter North a sibling in several interviews over the months. In Season 10 of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” she lets the audience in on the nitty-gritty of her struggle and all the steps that she’s been taking in order to have another baby.

In a teaser clip for the series, Kim mentioned how she and Kanye have been making love “500 times a day” just to conceive. In last night’s episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” the reason behind her comment is finally revealed. Kim visits a fertility doctor in order to monitor her ovulations. She explains that she was given only a 20 percent chance of getting pregnant every month and knowing when she is ovulating gives her a better chance of conceiving. She is even making sure that she stays in bed for at least 10 minutes after having relations in order to give the little swimmers a better chance of reaching her egg.

Kim gets some tests done and her doctor estimates the time when she is ovulating. She also takes several ovulation tests in order to be sure. When she gets the go signal from her doctor, she decides to try as many times as she can in order to have the best chance at conceiving. This explains why she says she and Kanye have been going at it numerous times a day.

E Online also shared a behind the scenes clip where Kim pulls a prank on her sisters Kourtney and Khloe. She takes a pregnancy test and she hands Khloe the stick. When the test comes out positive, Khloe completely freaks out. Even Kourtney appears excited but the sisters begin to suspect something is off when Kim doesn’t get overly excited.

Kim eventually reveals to them that she was given a shot to help her ovulate because her eggs were not being released. The doctor apparently told her that the shot will give her a false positive pregnancy test reading. She then took the opportunity to play the prank on her sisters. Khloe tells her that it’s mean but all three of them just laugh it out and discuss Kim’s ordeal.

After going through all the medical procedures and trying really hard to conceive, Kim delivers the bad news. During a family lunch, Kim announces that she got her period and didn’t get pregnant. She is clearly devastated but decides to change her game plan. She says that she’s decided to be more relaxed about it and to put herself under less stress. Kourtney agrees with her and tells her to chill out and let things happen naturally.
