Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio are the next "The X Factor" judges. The former Destiny's Child member and the Mexican songstress are reportedly signing on to join the U.S. version of the talent competition show.

According to TMZ, the two are in the final negotiations to join the FOX programme. And if everything goes as planned, they will be replacing former judges Britney Spears and L.A. Reid, and joining returning judge Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell.

And although nothing is set in stone yet, both Kelly, 32, and Paulina, 41, only have minor details to iron out in their contract before they officially sign on with the show's third season.

Also, Mario Lopez will be returning as the solo host since Khloe Kardashian was not asked to come back in the show.

The production will begin on Tuesday so it is expected that they have everything settled now.

Both Reid and Spears opted not to return to the show, citing other commitments. Reid, a record executive and producer, announced in December that he would be focusing on his Epic Records, while Spears will be focusing on recording her eighth studio album.

This wouldn't be Kelly's first "X Factor" job. She served as the judge in "The X Factor" U.K. version in its eighth season, alongside Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos, and Louis Walsh.

And while Paulina is new to the show, this wouldn't be her first talent show stint. She also signed on as a music coach for "La Voz Kids," a talent show toutd as a Spanish-language version of another singing competition programme "The Voice."
