Kendall Jenner Boosts Estée Lauder Instagram Page By Thousands
Just barely a week after being announced as the new face of Estée Lauder, Kendall Jenner already helped the beauty brand boost its presence on Instagram. Her contract with Estée Lauder is off to a good start.
With Kendall Jenner as the company's new model, Estee Lauder's Instagram already experienced at least an increase of 50k followers. Budding model Kendall certainly has quite the effect on the renowned cosmetic brand. This goes to show how Kendall is taking the modelling industry by storm. She's also proving a name for herself apart from her other equally famous sisters Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, who just recently launched her own hair extension business. The increase in social media followers of Estée Lauder is a strong metric of how good of an investment Kendall Jenner is on this time and age, especially she herself has 15 million followers on her Instagram.
Her landing a contract with Estée Lauder is no small feat. Her manager shared that at 19, to land such a contract has been unheard of until Kendall did it. On her three-minute interview with Estée Lauder spokesmodel Joan Smalls, Kendall shared how much of an honour it is. "It's amazing-it's such an honor to be part of one of the most prestigious cosmetic brands and to be involved with amazing girls, like you!" she gushed.
Kylie Jenner's older sister also said she freaked out when she found out about it. She said she was first told about it when she was on backstage in Paris and was warned that she could not share the news yet to anyone. "So I saw the text and I was like, "Oh my God! I have to keep this to myself." When I got to my room I started freaking out," she reminisces. She added that she told her mom and Kris Jenner got floored and cried.
It seems that the decision to pursue her modeling career was the right decision. It started out rocky, considering her famous family, but her thickening portfolio proves she has it. Following this deal with Estée Lauder, she even earned a 13-pages spread on Vogue.
