Kendall Jenner 'Bullied' By Models At New York Fashion Week
Despite making a name for herself in the fashion industry, not everyone is pleased with Kendall Jenner. Reports claim that during the New York Fashion week show, Kendall was "bullied" by a number of models. These models allegedly said Kendall "didn't deserve to be there."
Kendall Jenner has been trying so hard to outgrow the shadow of her reality television family. In fact, all for the sake of her modelling career, Kendall has dropped the name Jenner. The 18-year old claimed her chances at becoming a model were almost close to zero due to the fact that she was linked to the Kardashians.
"I want to be high fashion. I want to be taken seriously. People think that this [success] just came to me. But it didn't. What I have has almost worked against me." People didn't take me seriously as a model...I went on castings and some people weren't feeling me because of my name. But it was great when people didn't recognise me. I was like, 'Thank you. Please don't recognise me.,'" explained Kendall.
However, Kendall continued to pursue her dreams and has made it as one of Hollywood's hottest and most wanted models. She's reportedly eyed as one of the models for the Australian skincare brand, ModelCo who will pose along with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Other reports claim the 18-year old is close to becoming the next Victoria's Secret Angel after becoming part of Russell James coffee table book entitled, "Angels."
Yet, despite her success some models weren't too nice to Kendall. Reports by Daily Mail state Kendall was bullied at the New York Fashion Week wherein models had placed cigarette butts into her drink.
"The other models worked so hard to get a spot on the runway and didn't think it was fair that she was there. They started acting b****y. Some even put out their cigarettes in Kendall's drink!" reports a source to In Touch Weekly.
In spite of the reports, Kendall has kept her head high and has continued to pursue her career in modelling. Since her debut, Kendall has nabbed a number of covers for high end fashion magazines and walked the ramp for renowned fashion designers.
