Kendall Jenner Eyed As New ModelCo Brand Ambassador Alongside Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
Kendall Jenner is the "It Girl" of the moment. After a very successful run in the recently concluded New York Fashion Week, she is set to take Australia by storm with an impending deal set to be inked with skincare brand ModelCo.
Kendall walked the runways with some of the biggest names in fashion last week like legendary model Naomi Campbell and Victoria's Secret Angels Candice Swanepoel. This time around, if the deal pushes through, she will be working alongside yet another VS Angel, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who has already transitioned into the big screen with her appearance in the third "Transformers" film. Some of the other previous brand ambassadors include pop star Dannii Minogue, Cheyenne Tozzi and international supermodel Elle Macphereson.
This won't be the first time that Kendall will be working with Australian brands. She had already figured in shoots and runway shows with popular Aussie brands Alex Perry, Zhivago, Bec & Bridge, Camilla and Marc, and sass & bide.
According to an interview on the Daily Telegraph with ModelCo's founder Shelley Barrett, Kendall is not only the girl of the moment but she can see that Kim's younger sis is a sustainable model whose career will only keep growing as she gets older. So much buzz is around her at the moment with some publications even claiming that she will soon outshine her older Kardashian sibling.
Kendall has also graced the cover of Australian Vogue, among many other fashion and teen magazines over the past two years since she went into modeling full time. Kendall has been in the spotlight and in show business almost since she was born thanks to her Olympian father and eventually through her famous Kardashian sisters. Kendall ventured into modeling in her early teens but decided to stop in order to be a kid for a moment and live a normal life. Since turning 17, she went into modeling full time and has since also moved out of the family home. Taking the lead from her sisters, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe, she has launched collaborations with Steve Madden shoes for Madden Girl as well as a clothing line for PacSun with her younger sister Kylie.
At only 18, Kendall is a veteran of walking several runway shows in the past years in the United States and in other fashion forwards cities like Paris and Milan for brands like Chanel and Marc Jacobs. Kendall was in this year's New York Fashion Week where she walked for Diane Von Furstenberg, Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger and Polo by Ralph Lauren.
