Kendall Jenner Is The Face Of Calvin Klein Jeans
She is the face of Calvin Klein. Kendall Jenner who rocked the runway at Paris Fashion Week earlier this month is the face of the label’s denim collection, according to MTV. The news was confirmed by the company on March 26. Kim Kardashian's little sister follows the footsteps of industry heavyweights like Lara Stone, Kate Moss and Jourdan Dunn, who have all starred in Calvin Klein’s campaigns.
The news was confirmed by the brand on its official Instagram account. The caption said that Kendall Jenner would feature in the new ‘My Calvins’ Denim Series, a limited edition line inspired by iconic logos and classic sportswear. They even added that it would be soon available online on their own website and to select retailers.
The teenager will feature in Calvin Klein’s print campaign. The campaign shows Kendall modelling a collection of casual clothing, from a pair of light wash denim overalls, paired with a black lace bralette, a cropped and hooded sleeveless sweater in white with black jeans. Another one shows her in a loose cropped full-sleeves black sweater with blue jeans. Besides, the adverts also show the teen posing along with a male model looking sultry.
The campaign features a series of dark and broody images of Kendall. Melisa Goldie, the brand's chief marketing officer praised Kendall’s modern beauty and youthful spirit while also noting the reality’s stars impressive global fan base which was powerful. Besides she added that Calvin Klein was thrilled to have her in their campaign. “Modelling for Calvin Klein Jeans is really a dream come true. I’ve grown up wearing the brand and seeing the iconic advertising in magazines and on billboards featuring some of the world’s top supermodels,” the model said in a statement. She added that it was an honour to be a part of the brand.
Kendall appeared in a Vogue U.S. edition feature alongside her fellow Calvin Klein campaign star Justin Bieber and best friend Gigi Hadid. She is already the face of Estée Lauder, a brand which also reckoned her massive social media standing when announcing that they had signed her up as their newest campaign star. The teen model debuted a new video campaign for Estee Lauder, promoting their new Courreges collection this month.
