Kendall Jenner Forbids Kim Kardashian from Attending Her Fashion Show
Kendall Jenner has forbidden sister Kim Kardashian from attending any fashion show that she would take part in, according to media reports.
If you have been wondering why Kim is there to back her sister on the ramp, this may be the reason for it. Kim was seen shopping extravagantly in Sydney. Her sister, Kendall, apparently clarified Kim's absence from her fashion shows. She said that she would like to be taken "seriously" in the fashion world. Kim's presence in her shows may spoil her chances to be "high fashion," she indicated. "She called me before and was like, 'Hey, I was invited to the show, I just wanted to let you know. Do you want me to come?' and I was like, 'No.'" Kendall said about her conversation with sister Kim, according to The Cut.
Kendall also said that people thought it was easy for her to achieve success while it was not. She said that her identity had worked against her. She had to work even harder to achieve what she wanted to because people had not taken her seriously as a model, she said. Kendall blamed it all on the TV Show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." She said that she had gone on casting while several people had not recognised her because of the surname. However, she said that it was "great" that people did not recognise her because of being a "Kardashian."
The 18-year-old model is the half-sister of three famous Kardashian sisters: Kim, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian. While those three sisters and their brother Rob use their father, Robert Kardashian's surname, Kendall prefers using her own father's.
Kim, on the other hand, seemed supportive of her half-sister. She appreciated the "extra" hard work Kendall had to do for gaining respect. Kim also said that her sister had fought for people to prove that she was serious about her work. "Marc Jacobs gave her a real shot and treated her like any other model. He believed in her and opened the door for her. Then Riccardo and Karl gave her a chance and she has proven that she is the real deal," she said, "Her hard work paid off, and that makes me so proud."
