Kendall Jenner isn’t banned from Uber after Kim Kardashian tweeted company wouldn’t drive Kendall
Kim Kardashian complained on social media Friday night that she had to drive her half-sister Kendall Jenner because she was “banned” from Uber.
“Yeah, she’s suspended,” Kardashian shared in a Snapchat video. “This is not fair… so we just wanna know why was Kendall suspended? She’s literally, like, a model passenger.”
“I’m the best client,” Jenner added. “I don’t understand.”
“And now I have to go drive Kendall around town when I have a spray tan that I have to get to and it’s already 11 o’clock at night,” Kardashian continued complaining. “Thank you, Uber.”
Uber was quick with the damage control. The company clarified the situation on Saturday, stating the 20-year-old reality star’s account had only been suspended because of “a minor account issue.”
“She has not been banned,” an Uber source told People. “It was a minor account issue that is being resolved. While it is being resolved, her account was put on hold. Uber support has reached out.”
It is not known what the issue is.
The Smartphone app service told the NY Daily News that “it had nothing to do with behaviour.”
Kim and Kendall were having dinner at Craig’s in West Hollywood before heading on to view the secret Kanye West Famous exhibit somewhere in LA. Right after the half-sisters enjoyed their night out, the Uber problem happened, to which Kim immediately ranted about.
Earlier this week, the “Vogue” cover model appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and discussed about how she and the late-night talk show host are now neighbours.
“When I moved in, my mum was not happy about me moving into a home by myself,” she said on the show. “And I was like, ‘No, you know what, it’s OK because Jimmy Kimmel lives right across the street. I don’t know him, but, like, maybe if anything goes down, he’ll save my life.”
