Kendall Jenner Listed In Top 50 Models List Where Her Friend Model Cara Delevingne Not Mentioned

Kendall Jenner is having the best time of her life professionally. The reality television star turned model has made her debut on the Models.com list of Top 50 models in the industry. However, Kendal's friend and popular model Cara Delevingne is not on the list. The 19-year-old joins the list along with some of the most famous and successful faces in the industry including Edie Campbell, Lindsey Wixon and Blinx Walton.

The list of Top 50 models consists of those faces who have made their debut in the modeling world recently but have the potential to reach to the top. Other new faces in the list are Gigi Hadid, Mick Jagger's daughter Georgia May Jagger and supermodel Kristen McMenamy's daughter Lily, who was featured in Love and i-D magazines in 2014. The website reportedly ranked the models based on their social media popularity and the number of runway shows and magazine appearance each one of them made in the current year, says Daily Mail.

In terms of social media popularity, no one can beat the Jenner girl. Kendall Jenner has a huge fan following on both Twitter and Instagram, which are the most popular mediums of interaction for the celebrities. The 19-year-old has more than 33 million followers on various social media platforms. Kendall has walked the runway for many popular fashion designers including Chanel, Givenchy and Marc Jacobs. She has also appeared on numerous magazine covers including Vogue and Love. The reality star has also been announced as the face of popular cosmetic brand Estee Lauder.

The surprise and shocking element of the list was the exclusion of popular Chanel model Cara Delevingne from the list completely. The blonde beauty, who is a popular face on the runway, is currently busy with her movie "Peter Pan" where she is playing the role of a mermaid. Daily Mail speculates that Cara's exclusion from the list is an indication that she is now focusing on the movie career and modeling has taken a back seat for her.

Models.com has also come out with another list of popular models called the "New Supers" that features Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss, Lara Stone and Miranda Kerr, among others. There is yet another ranking by the website which is called "Money Girls" and it chronicles the name of some of the highest earning models including Kate Moss and Gisele Bundchen.
