Kendra Wilkinson And Hank Baskett Divorce: Kendra Did Not Want To Shut Down The Man She Married
Kendra Wilkinson recently opened about how close she came upon divorcing her husband, Hank Baskett. The couple, who married in 2009, were marred by cheating rumours just after the birth of their second child. Rumours were rife that Hank had cheated on Kendra with a transsexual.
Kendra recently revealed her feelings about the rumours and what did she do to reach the truth. The "Kendra On Top" star said that, "Five weeks after giving birth to my daughter I got a call from my agent telling me about the rumour."
"I get a call one night, from my agent and he said to me, 'Hey Kendra, you know there's a rumor going around, about you and Hank'. The story is about the husband cheating on his wife with a transsexual," she said.
Reportedly, Kendra laughed at the rumour and asked Hank about it who denied having any such relation with a transsexual. During the divorce drama, Kendra was also seen stepping out in the public without the engagement ring. She had reportedly flushed it down the toilet. She said that when the rumours about her husband and the transexual ripened, she got the feeling of cheating. She was even willing to find out the evidence and what really happened.
"I cannot shut this man down. I'm willing to spend the rest of my life trying to figure this out rather than spend one night single," she further said.
Furthermore, Kendra also denied that the whole divorce drama was for the ratings of her show "Kendra on Top." She said that she would never degrade herself like this by showing her marriage troubles on the TV. She even admitted that there were times when she was not available for Hank when he needed her, especially when his NFL career came to an end. The rough patch in their relationship made her realise that she needed to be there for Hank, according to the reports.
Kendra and Hank reunited in the end of June this year. Kendra also shared her feelings about what she think about Hank as a father and said that "he is great as a father."
