Khloe Kardashian Gets Mixed Reactions After Talking About Incest With Her Brother Rob
Among the Kardashian-Jenner siblings, it's been no secret that Khloe and Rob Kardashian are very close. Perhaps rivaled only by Kendall and Kylie Jenner's closeness, the brother-sister team took some time to show each other some love on social media, but some people think they might have gone too far this time. Khloe dropped the word incest that raised a few eyebrows.
Rob started things rolling by giving a shout out to his older sister. He posted a couple of photos of her that appear to be taken by some paparazzi as she got out of her car to go to the gym. He took a screenshot of the original post by an Instagram user with the handle @kuwtkgirls. Khloe had been actively posting several workout photos and videos of herself in the past several weeks and the pics that Rob posted may have been taken in one of her intensive workout days. The photos themselves were ordinary albeit showing off Khloe's curvy body and highlighted her famous Kardashian backside. The issue lies in tweet that accompanied it:
#WCW @khloekardashian shneeeeee meeeee claaaaaa
— ROBERT KARDASHIAN (@robkardashian) October 1, 2014
The hashtag "#WCW" means "Woman Crush Wednesday," which has been gaining popularity similar to other day-based hashtags like "#throwbackthurdsay," "#flashbackfriday" and "#ootd." Rob may have been showing some admiration for his beautiful sister, but Khloe's reaction made things worse for the two. Khloe took to her Instagram account to respond by posting a screenshot of Robert's post and captioning it: "Totally a normal brother/sister relationship. Incest is best!!! #HeyBooHey"
The reference to incest has some people questioning if the Kardashian siblings have gone too far this time. Several publications including Hollywoodlife have questioned the behaviour. The Mirror said: "Ummm, this makes us rather uncomfortable," The comments on Khloe's post also shows mixed reactions among her followers.
The official website of the Kardashian's home network E! channel posted an article about the exchange, but stuck to the angle that it was a hilarious joke and just regular banter. "Khloé took to her own Instagram account to call out her little bro and mock him for his humorous status" said the E! online article. The Kardashians' string of reality shows including "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and its various spin-offs air on E!.
