We were excited when Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom went a date, on Oct 28 to Kanye West's concert. However, contrary to our expectations, the couple did not rekindle their romance.

Khloe and Lamar are living apart for more than two months and reportedly, Khloe is not ready to patch up things with Lamar. A source told Hollywoodlife.com, "There are no talks about reconciliation. Khloe is very frustrated when it comes to Lamar. The fact that he doesn't seem to care to shape up makes Khloe act like she is over him."

Apparently, Khloe Kardashian is protecting herself from Lamar Odom's drama. On previous occasions the reality show actress has been hurt by Odom's reluctance to follow her advice and now Khloe has closed all her doors for Lamar Odom.

A source further revealed to Hollywoodlife.com, "Khloé doesn't know how they'll ever be a happy, married couple again. She is very hurt that he's lied to her about being clean. And she's made it clear that he can't spend time with her family until he is."

It is not a hidden fact that since the time Lamar Odom took to drug addiction, Khloe and Lamar are struggling in their marriage. Khloe opened about her issues with Lamar Odom on the Nov. 3 episode of "Keeping Up With Kardashians". On the show she told her step dad Bruce Jenner about her issues with Lamar and how she wants a getaway from him

Meanwhile, Lamar Odom has revealed to as source that he is planning to celebrate his birthday, on Nov.6, with Khloe Kardashian. The source told Hollywoodlife.com, "Lamar is going tell her he loves her and genuinely mean it. He's going to thank her for all the unconditional love and support she's given him throughout this tough year."
