Khloe Kardashian could have gotten a nose job at just nine years old if it were up to her mum. The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star revealed that she overheard Kris Jenner telling a friend that her then youngest daughter needed to alter her looks.

The 29-year-old reality TV star has previously bemoaned in the show that she has a bigger build than her sisters Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, making her wonder if she was adopted (she’s not, as she found out in an episode of the show).

But it seemed that Khloe has had more issues with her physical appearance than her fans thought. Apparently, her self-esteem hit a snag as early as age nine when her own mother thought that she needed plastic surgery.

“She didn’t mean harm, but when I was around nine I overheard my mum telling her friend I needed a nose job. I was shocked; I hadn’t even thought about it,” she told UK Cosmopolitan magazine.

“I’ve grown into my face but I’ve had makeup artists tell me, ‘You should get a nose job.’ I’m so happy that I never have...”

It’s not as if Khloe is against undergoing plastic surgery; she’s even proud that she had lost weight without needing to go under the knife.

“One day I probably will [have plastic surgery] but it would be on my terms. I won’t be bullied into it by social media or anyone else. I love my body and always have done.”

While there are people who have been inspired by Khloe’s words on natural beauty and acceptance, there’s someone who is furious with her for talking about it.

“Jenner was absolutely blindsided by the nose job comments her daughter made in the interview,” a source told the Daily Mirror. “She wasn’t given a heads up when it was even discussed! Kris has been getting heavily criticised on social media and has been reading all of the negative comments.”

The source continued, “She is furious with Khloe for even bringing it up, and thinks it makes her look like a bad mother.”

Kris indeed doesn’t have the best motherly reputation on social media. Viewers of their show found out that she’s the one who had persuaded Kim to pose fully nude for Playboy magazine. And according to rumours, one of the reasons why husband Bruce Jenner split from her is because she wanted their daughter Kendall Jenner to release a sex tape to reach Kim’s level of fame.
