Khloe Kardashian is pulling out all the stops for the Kardashian-Jenner clan's Thanksgiving dinner. For the first time ever, Khloe is cooking the meal and hosting the dinner at her new home. Typically, Thanksgiving is celebrated at the Jenner home hosted by Kris. This time around, Khloe stepped up to the plate and showed off her own cooking prowess and her beautiful home.

Khloe could not have been more excited to be in charge of Thanksgiving for the members of her popular family. Before getting things started in the kitchen, Khloe hit the gym, with Thanksgiving on her mind. She posted a selfie showing off her braided hair and said: " Thank you @hairlovebydominique for braiding me up last night. One less thing to worry about while I'm cooking Thanksgiving dinner for the fam braids on fleek"

Soon after dropping the hint that she's making dinner for the entire family, Khloe went on and tweeted about her excitement. She told her twitter followers about how she's taking over from Kris Jenner and that she's already started the gruelling but fulfilling task a day ahead:

Im hosting Thanksgiving dinner at my house 4 my fam! This is a first. We always go2 my mama's house, so this year I'm really really excited

Khloe showed off a photo of her ornate black and white dining room, which will be ground zero for Tonight's feast. She repeated that she is thrilled to be hosting her first dinner party at the new home that she purchased earlier this year. She credited her friend Jeff Leatham for helping her put together the dining room in preparation for the party.

Before the turkey was revealed, Khloe first gave a sneak peek of the sweet desserts that she had on offer. Her spread included pumpkin pie and brownies among other things. A savoury dish of mac and cheese is also on the menu for the famous family who will be celebrating Thanksgiving without their camera crew buzzing around them. Khloe explained that they let the crew off to enjoy Thanksgiving with their own families. Personalised coverage of the big dinner will then be limited to their own social media posts.

Meanwhile, Kris Jenner opted to go nostalgic on the holiday and posted a throwback photo of her family on Instagram. She shared an old photo where she and ex-husband Bruce Jenner posed with the four Kardashian Kids, Kylie and Kendall Jenner as well as Scott Disick.
