Khloe Kardashian broke off her relationship with Moroccan rapper French Montana just several weeks after they officially confirmed their relationship via his debut appearance in "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." Khloe's BFF Malika Haqq was in the middle of the breakup controversy after reports surfaced that one reason for the split was some inappropriate texting between her and the rapper. Despite her involvement, Khloe and Malika seem to be tighter than ever with no sign of a cat fight.

While initial reports stated it was an amicable split and Khloe just felt the rapper was getting too dependent or needy, it was later revealed that one factor could have been inappropriate text messages sent to Malika's way. Hollywood Life reported that trust issues were raised and Khloe decided that she didn't want to be in a relationship with him any longer on account of his "playing."

Malika and Khloe have since maintained their friendship with no signs of falling out. Just last week, Khloe posted a throwback photo of herself with Malika, her sister Kourtney and Malika's sister Khadija. The group was by the pool sporting matching striped bikinis. She reminisced: "The ratchetness was real in 2009 lol@kourtneykardash @imforeverkhadijah@theeforevermalika Who thought it was cute to all wear the same bikini?!? #TBT"

The following day, Khloe showed Malika some love once more by posting a photo of herself and her friend during a workout session. She has been posting a series of photos and videos from her workout sessions with Swedish trainer Gunnar Petersen and this time around, she recruited Malika to join her. She captioned the pic: "Only auntie @shellibird1 can make me smile this big at the gym. Having @theeforevermalika around doesn't hurt either. This is me."
