Khloe Kardashian's 'Kocktails With Khloe' cancelled allegedly due to 'chaos' behind the scenes
After only 14 episodes, Khloe Kardashian’s new show, “Kocktails With Khloe,” has been cancelled. There were rumors that the reality star was so used to calling all the shots and that the whole crew dynamics behind the scenes was a mess.
An insider reveals that Khloe had some conflict with staff members because she was not used to being on a small show, unlike “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”
“Khloé’s used to being on a smash-hit show [‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ with sister Kim] and being able to call the shots. But it’s not like that on a small show… Eventually everyone had enough,” the source said to Page Six.
The ratings of “Kocktails With Khloe” were high since it started on Jan. 20, 2015 on FYI network. The show garnered 24 percent more viewers compared to the show in the same slot one year before. The show also brought in the most views in FYI history.
However, behind the scenes, there was supposedly a lot of “chaos.” One source said that people on the set did not agree with each other on what the show should be or which direction they were all headed.
FYI says that the last episode will air on Apr. 20, 2016. FYI representatives did not comment on the recent cancellation, but thanked Khloe for the opportunity and the special voice that she brought to the show.
Perez Hilton also writes that Khloe has since resorted to social media to share her side of the story.
She tweeted her gratitude to FYI and Pilgrim Studios for their efforts on the show. She also shared that she enjoyed every second of shooting. She promised fans that the final episode will go out with a bang. Khloe also teased that she has more projects lined up soon and that she is not going anywhere.
Reportedly, the last episode will feature a number of stars, namely her sister Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.
Khloe Kardashian may be working on another reality TV show, or adding more drama to “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” More updates and details are expected soon.
