British hunk, Robert Pattinson has been nominated in the “Favorite UK Actor” category, battling against some of the biggest and established English actors at the 2013 Kids' Choice Awards. What are his chances at beating out Daniel Craig known best for his iconic role as James Bond and other films, including ‘Cowboys and Aliens’ and ‘The Adventures of Tintin.”

Robert’s fellow nominees include Andrew Garfield known for his role in Spiderman, ‘Red Riding,’ and ‘The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus’ ; and Matt Smith for his TV role as Doctor in ‘Doctor Who.”

Robert began his career in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. But the British hunk became a household name for his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight franchise. The actor revealed in one of the interviews that he was on his way back home to London when he received a call that he was being asked to audition for the sci-fi romance.

A model and a musician before he found his niche in the film industry, Robert flew to LA to start out a career in the mid-2000. Only to be disappointed when no luck came until that day he got a call for the Twilight audition. It was the first time he met Kristen and the two had a “kissing scene” as their “audition material” and then came the chemistry that led the two stars (and lovers) to become who they are together - - as “iconic” for their role as Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.

And the rest, like they say, is history.

With his “iconic” role with Kristen, Robert earned the “Favorite UK Actor” award? He has been named as one of the most influential people both by the Time Magazine and People. Will this help him beat Craig and Garfield and be this year's "Favorite UK Actor"?

Voting for the 22 categories began to come in since February 14 and the winners will be announced at the 2013 Kids Choice Awards that will be held at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California on March 23, 2013 at 8 p.m. ET. It will be hosted by Josh Duhamel.
