Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian have turned themselves not only into reality TV stars but also fashion moguls. With the massive success of the Kardashian Kollection fashion line apart from the DASH retail stores, the sisters are determined to earn their name as talented designers who are not just famous for being famous. In a recent interview, Kim Kardashian-West talks about the design process and how she uses Instagram to get inspiration for the line's upcoming looks.

The Kardashian Kollection line is now being carried through various retail partners all over the world and with the seasons changing, new collections are coming out. Kim had just been to London to promote the new fall/winter collection for Lipsy, and earlier this month, Kim flew down under to promote the spring/summer collection at Westfield Parramatta in the outskirts of Sydney, Australia. While there, Kim sat down for an interview with Kate Waterhouse of the Sydney Morning Herald to talk about the collection and her life as a mother and reality TV star.

When asked about the design process for Kardashian Kollection, Kim shared she often looks around on Instagram to find inspiration. She said she takes screenshots of outfits she sees from other people's posts and compiles it with other looks she sees from fashion bloggers and even ordinary people walking on the street. With her other sisters also putting in their input, they typically exchange photos for design pegs even when they are miles apart from each other. The ideas are exchanged and mood boards are produced before they even manage to sit down together with their team. Some of these meetings have previously been documented on episodes of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."

But as a businesswoman, Kim doesn't just use social media for inspiration for her designs, she also admitted businesses are now able to better promote themselves through the social media platform. Kim's Instagram account now boasts a massive following just shy of 19 million followers and steadily growing.

Meanwhile, being a reality star, Kim shared the best part of her job is being able to shoot the show at home where she can have her baby daughter with her. Even while in Australia, Kim and Kanye brought along their 1-year-old daughter who was able to see her dad live in concert for the first time in Perth. With the pros come the cons, however, and Kim admitted she sometimes feels like there's too many people in the house all the time and being in a reality show means wanting for privacy.
