Kim Kardashian Cancels Trip To India And 'Bigg Boss' Appearance, Sends Apology To Fans

Indian fans of American reality TV star Kim Kardashian will be disappointed to learn that her first ever trip to the country has been cancelled due to visa issues. Kardashian was set to visit the "Bigg Boss" house while in Mumbai as well as promote her new fragrance Fleur Fatale. She issued an apology to her fans via her Instagram site and promised to reschedule.

Kim started what was to be a three-city tour to promote her latest fragrance earlier this week. She landed in Australia on Sunday, Nov. 16, via Sydney and went ahead to make appearances in Melbourne to promote the said fragrance. She was supposed to head to India next and then to Dubai to complete what she calls a world tour.

Unfortunately, Kim's plans to come to India for the first time fell through when her visa was not processed. According to a report by local Indian news website India West, some visa issues were encountered because Kim was unable to complete some application formalities in the United States. This became a problem because Kim had been travelling and had no time to complete said procedures.

Kim issued an official statement on her Instagram site thanking fans in India and apologising for the cancellation: "I'm so disappointed I wasn't able to come to India as planned. When the opportunity presented itself to make the trip, there was a short window to coordinate all the elements necessary to make it happen," she said. She further explained that time ran out and they were forced to cancel. She also stated that she plans to reschedule the trip.

Kim was supposed to make a public appearance to promote her fragrance and while in Mumbai, she was also set to make a guest appearance at the "Bigg Boss" house to interact with remaining contestants. The show, now on its eighth season, is the Indian version of the popular reality TV show franchise "Big Brother."

Kim has completed the Australian leg of her tour where she appeared before hundreds of screaming Australian fans at the Chadstone Shopping Center on Wednesday, Nov. 19. She was supposed to jet off to India on Thursday, Nov. 20, but due to the cancellation, her next destination remains unknown. She was spotted leaving Melbourne through the international airport terminal on Thursday as scheduled, but it is unclear if she will return to Los Angeles or head straight to Dubai to complete the promotional tour for Fleur Fatale. Mail Online shared photos of Kim as she walked through the terminal while talking on her mobile phone. She wore pink leggings and a turtleneck sweater despite the summer weather in the southern hemisphere.
