Kim Kardashian Denies Being Banned From Angelina Jolie's 'Unbroken' Premiere In Australia

Australia isn't big enough for both Angelina Jolie and Kim Kardashian if reports are to be believed that Jolie banned the reality star form attending the premiere of her new film "Unbroken." Kim Kardashian has denied reports of being banned or even requesting to attend said premiere.

Early this week, both Hollywood A-listers Kim Kardashian and Angelina Jolie arrived in Sydney for their respective events. Kim was in the country as part of a promotional tour for her latest fragrance, Fleur Fatale. Meanwhile, Jolie was in Australia for the premiere of the film she directed entitled "Unbroken" which was shot in Australia last year. She was joined by her equally famous husband, Brad Pitt.

An exclusive report from The Fix stated that Angelina pulled out all the stops to keep Kim away from her film's premier for fear of having the reality star steal the spotlight. The same reports said that the Kardashian team reached out to Jolie in an effort to get Kim a spot at the premiere. Angelina reportedly denied the request and wanted to focus on getting an Oscar nomination for her film without having Kim's distracting presence on the red carpet of her premiere.

In a contrasting report by the Daily Mail Australia, a representative from the Kardashian camp stated that Kim was never keen on making an effort to get close with Angelina and Brad through the movie premiere. Kim apparently did not ask to attend the premiere and was in fact busy doing her own thing. At the time of the "Unbroken" showing, Kim was actually hours away on Jervis Bay shooting what is reported to be a possible photo spread for VOGUE Magazine. She even shared a photo on her Instagram site to account for her whereabouts.

Jolie's World War II biopic was shot in Australia and she chose to stage the world premiere in Sydney last Monday. Kardashian meanwhile, was in town to promote her seventh fragrance release called Fleur Fatale. Kim travelled to Melbourne on Tuesday to host a VIP event and then went ahead to make a public appearance on Wednesday in front of hundreds of adoring fans at the Chadstone Shopping Center.
