Even though "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" is currently off the air in between seasons, Kim Kardashian is still a constant presence on TV screens. This time around, the reality star will make a guest appearance in the season 4 premiere of the CBS comedy series "2 Broke Girls."

The series stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs who play best friends Max and Caroline respectively. Kanye West's ladylove will be playing herself in the show. Max and Caroline operate a cupcake shop at the back of the diner where they work and as seen in a photo published by US Weekly, this is where the two main characters of the show will encounter Mrs. West.

According to a report by Hollywood Life, Kim's involvement comes in relation to her family's reality TV show. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" producers supposedly showed interest in using the cupcake shop for some scenes in the show and this led to Kim's visit.

The same report reveals that Caroline and Max are at odds with each other when it comes to their opinions about Kim's famous family. Caroline is a fan while Max couldn't care less. Always one to know how to laugh at herself and take a joke, Kim took it in stride when the script called for the characters to make fun of her and her sisters' names. They were called a slew of names starting wtih the letter K like Kamber, Klondike, Krispy and Kreme.

Kim's popularity and millions of fans and social media followers become a major rallying point in the discussion on whether or not Max and Caroline should keep up with the Kardashians. Since the main characters are strapped for cash, and they know that having that kind of star power connected to their shop could result in something great, they entertain the possibility of appearing in a segment of the reality show. TV Line reports that the show's producer Michael Patrick King wanted to show how a celebrity whose tweets reach millions can affect a business.

Kim first announced her involvement in the series back in August. She tweeted her excitement and gave out the details on the episode's airing date this coming Monday:

Among Kim's previous guest starring roles include voicing a character for the animated series "American Dad" and also short appearances in "Drop Dead Diva" and "CSI:NY." Her sister Khloe and Kourtney's boyfriend Scott Disick also made a guest appearance as themselves earlier this year for the series "Royal Pains."
