Kim Kardashian Joins Hollywood Superstars Robert Redford and Brangelina In Australia This Week
Sydney is buzzing with action this week as a host of international superstars arrived in the city for various reasons. American reality star Kim Kardashian is the latest celebrity to land in the city and was immediately mobbed by fans. She joined Robert Redford as well Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who are also in town to work on and promote their latest projects.
Kim Kardashian is in Australia to promote her latest fragrance called Fleur Fatale, which came out in the market last September. She landed in Sydney on Sunday and spent some time in the city before heading out to Melbourne for her public appearance on Nov. 19. She was spotted in Icebergs restaurant in Bondi just minutes after Robert Redford excited the same hotspot. Before leaving, Kim managed to squeeze in some selfies with fans outside the restaurant.
The iconic Hollywood actor had also dined in the same place that Kardashian had chosen and according to Australian news website 9 News, Redford is in town to film his latest movie project. The film is a political drama centred on a report made in 2004 by journalist Dan Rather, which stated that former U.S. President George W. Bush avoided the Vietnam War draft due to preferential treatment. Rather's character will be played by Redford while Australian actress Cate Blanchett is set to take on the role of Mary Mapes, another journalist who lost her job as a producer due to the controversial story.
Meanwhile, Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are also in Sydney. Brangelina are in town to attend the premiere of Jolie's film "Unbroken," Jolie filmed and directed World War II biopic in Sydney last year. According to Australian publication Woman's Day, Angelina and Brad made it a family affair last year when they brought all of their kids down under while Jolie was working on the film. They even spent the Christmas holidays in the land down under.
Incidentally, Kim Kardashian also took her entire family down to Australia back in September. She and her daughter North West joined her husband Kanye West when he went on a multiple city concert tour. This time around, she came alone and will only spend a few days in the country. She is scheduled to hold a VIP party on Nov. 18 at the Melbourne Spice Market and then a public appearance on Nov. 19 at the Chadstone Shopping Centre.
