Former editor of French "Vogue" Carine Roitfeld says Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are normal people and just like any other couple.

"They are so normal," former "Vogue" editor told People at the premiere of "Mademoiselle C" at N.Y.C. on Friday. She added, "They are lovely together."

Kim Kardashian, who is on the cover of the latest issue of Roitfeld's issue, was supposed to come at the premiere and the after party at The Four Seasons Restaurant but cancelled it. This could have been her first appearance after North West's birth.

However, Kanye West did come for the premiere, Absolute Elyx-sponsored fête, but quite late as reported by People. Apparently, Kim and Kanye have not seen each other since they released a photo of North West in Aug., revealed by a source close to the family as told to People.

Kanye West makes an appearance in the documentary, "Mademoiselle C" which is based on how Carine Roitfeld initiated the new "CR Fashion Book" after her 10 year stay at French "Vogue."

On Kanye West's appearance at the premiere, a source close to him says, "He came because Carine is a good friend of his."

Roitfeld also said she met Kim through Kanye, "because he is so into fashion, of course." "We decided we would do a story about her. Immediately she said, 'Yes.' " as reported by People.

"She was one of the easiest models I have ever worked with," Roitfeld says to People. "She's not a model, but she was pregnant, you know, and I love pregnant women. Honestly, she was very, very nice. She made no demands at all."

It seems like she does not throw any tantrums like a diva does.

Roitfeld is yet to meet the little angel, North West, but she has seen her pictures and says, "She is beautiful!" as told to People.
