Kim and Kanye have been dating for the last one and half year and recently they welcomed a new member in their small family, their daughter North.

How Kanye West Proposed to Kim Kardashian?

"Keeping Up with Kardashians" star Kim Kardashian was celebrating her 33rd birthday on Oct. 21, 2013 when she was surprised with this sweet yet grand proposal. Kanye West popped the question in front of Kim's family and friends. The event took place in AT&T Park at San Francisco.

According to the sources Kanye rented out the stadium for Kim's birthday party which as per his plans, turned into an engagement party.

He proposed to her with a magnificent gesture. Witnesses were stunned as they saw "PLEASE MARRY MEE!!!!" written on the massive screen of the stadium. To make it more memorable 50-piece orchestra played "Young and Beautiful" by Lana Del Rey and "Knock You Down," Kanye's own song featuring Keri Hilson and Ne-Yo. The orchestra played the music in front of the scoreboard and Jumbotron.

It is reported that Kanye proposed to Kim with a 15-carat diamond ring, designed by Lorraine Schwartz. Fireworks and Roman candles lit the field as Kim's family and friends then came forward to surprise her. She didn't know that they were there.

Kim Kardashian's family is as surprised and happy as Kim. They expressed their joy on twitter. Rob Kardashian, Kim's younger brother tweeted:

Kim later posted a picture of her stunning engagement ring through Instagram with a message "Yes!!!"(see picture here)

Kanye wanted to make Kim's birthday something she would never forget. Kim is on cloud nine and couldn't have asked for anything more on her day. She is in a great place with her child healthy and happy, and now getting engaged seals the deal on her happiness," an unknown source told this to Hollywoodlife.com.
