Kim Kardashian West will be returning to the MTV Video Music Awards this year making it her third appearance as a presenter in the popular awards show. Kim was first tapped to make her presence felt in the MTV VMAs in 2010 and then returned in 2011 when she was tasked to hand out the Best Male Video Award which Justin Bieber won.

The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards will take place on Sunday, Aug 24, 2014 and it will be held at The Forum Theater in Los Angeles, California. Kim Kardashian's star power has certainly gotten stronger now that she's one half of a celebrity power couple playfully dubbed "Kimye." Kim has become so influential that MTV is even wondering if the snaps that she will take during the MTV Video Music Awards this year will end up on her selfie book. Kim has recently announced that she will be publishing a book containing hundreds of her selfies after the idea was hatched from a gift for Kanye. Whenever the busy couple were apart, Kim would take sexy photos of herself to send to her then fiancé. Soon, the personal photos turned into a business idea and now even MTV is wondering if the VMA stage will make a cameo as reported on the official MTV VMA website.

Other confirmed presenters include cast members from the new highly successful series "Orange is the New Black," Demi Lovato, Gwen Stefani and "Wiggle, Wiggle" singer Jason Derulo.

Kim's other half, rapper Kanye West, is nominated for Best Hip Hop Video for his single "Black Skinhead." It isn't clear which category Kim will be presenting so there is a possibility of her handing the moon man to her main man. The pair will be expected to hit the red carpet together on Sunday and it remains to be seen how well they will coordinate their outfits. Kanye will be going up against Childish Gambino, "3005," Drake ft. Majid Jordan, "Hold On (We're Going Home)," Eminem, "Berzerk," and Wiz Khalifa "We Dem Boyz."

Video of the Year nominee Beyonce will be taking the stage. She is nominated for a whopping eight categories this year. The Queen Bey will be joined by several other big names in the industry like blonde babes Rita Ora and Iggy Azalea who are pairing up for a collaborative performance. Maroon 5 is also expected to take the stage for the first time on the live VMA stage.
