Kim Kardashian is proof that even if one is not talented, you can still be famous. As Kim shed her clothes off for the November issue of W, pundits wonders what makes Kim Kardashian a star.

What puzzles pundits is Kim's popularity even if she has no apparent talent. She stars in Keeping Up with the Kardashians, where she plays herself with no acting ability at all required for her performance.

Yet, Kardashian remains a staple in the public's on-line activities. Google ranks her as one of the most searched celebrity in the world. In fact, Kim is the most searched celebrity in Australia.

Add to Kim's claim to fame is her reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashian which had been viewed at one time by a 13 million-strong audience. It is one of the hits on E!, which became the most viewed show by women during Sunday night. Now, she stars in a spin-off show Khloe and Kim Take New York.

The latest issue from W almost ends up satirizing Kim Kardashian's apparent lack of talent in its introduction to Kim Kardashian story "KIM KARDASHIAN: THE ART OF REALITY."

"Kim Kardashian can't sing, act, or dance, but she's found the role of a lifetime in the fine art of playing herself," says the magazine.

Indeed, If there's one thing that Kim is good at, it's playing up to the public perception of the reality star.

"I'm not a drinker, and when I'm up on the table dancing, it's for the picture. Then I sit right back down. I play into the perception of me, but it's not really me. And the show reveals that," Kim told W.
