Kim Kardashian Says Daughter North Will Have To Work For What She Wants Despite Family's Wealth

With obscenely rich parents like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, 1-year-old baby North West seems to be set for life. Despite being born with a silver spoon in her mouth, Kim insists that her daughter will have to work for what she wants just like she has been doing all her life.

It's no secret that Kim Kardashian grew up in a wealthy household with a high profile lawyer as a father and an Olympic gold medalist stepfather. Her mom Kris Jenner, and her two ex-husbands, Robert Kardashian and Bruce Jenner, brought up their kids with a good work ethic and didn't just hand them whatever they wanted. Kim revealed in an interview with the London Evening Standard that she wants the same for her daughter North.

"I was saying that earlier to my friends, 'I wonder what [North's] first job is gonna be.''" said Kim, who revealed that her friends were a bit shocked that she's expecting North to work. She then explained that of course she wants North to work in order to get what she wants. She then shared how she had to do the same thing for herself as a young adult.

"We didn't get anything [from her parents], we had to get a job if we wanted it. So I was working in a clothing store and I would save and save." explained Kim as she recalled a Dolce & Gabbana dress and a pair of Prada shoes that she saved up for. She said that she still remembers how she saved up for an entire year to cough up the money for those shoes.

It's too early to tell what North will want to do, but her fashionista mom is already leaning towards something in the fashion industry. She said that maybe her daughter could be a designer. After all, North is already a fashion industry veteran at only 16 months. Last month, she sat on the front rows of a couple of Paris Fashion Weeks shows and also dressed to impress with outfits that matched her mom. It has been reported that Kim and Kanye have even hired a stylist and tailor to make sure that North is always camera ready and is able to match her mom's every outfit for public appearances.
