Kim and Kourtney Kardashian are about to transform themselves into New Yorkers as they emerse themselves in the fashion of New York City. With the colder weather of New York, fans can expect a more covered-up Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, like in the new photographs uploaded by Kim on her blog.

"New York is the city of style so now that Kourt and I are here for a while we are prepping for the colder NY weather and we're switching things up!" said Kim Kardashian.

"NYC has such a different vibe to LA... people dress much less casual here, and I love the unique looks the New Yorkers rock around the city."

For starters, Kim wore turtleneck (Is it farewell plunging necklines?) and Gucci fur, but some things will never change: Kim Kardashian stuck with her Birkin bags.

"I am wearing an American Apparel cotton turtleneck, Gucci fur, Fendi thigh high wedge boots and a brown Birkin bag!" added Kim Kardashian.

Kourtney and Kim will take on the Big Apple with the spin-off show Kourtney and Kim Take New York, as previously announced here. While in New York, Kim Kardashian said she will also be helping out Kourtney in managing their New York City-branch DASH store. Filming for Kourtney and Kim take New York will begin in the next couple of months.
