Kim Kardashian ‘taking some much needed time off,' says assistant

Even celebrities need a break from the spotlight and this is exactly what Kim Kardashian is doing, according to her personal assistant and close friend.

Steph Shep said the 35-year-old reality star is taking some time off following her traumatic robbery experience in Paris.

In a note published on Kardashian’s website, Shep assured fans of Kanye West’s wife that she is on her way to recovery.

“Hey guys. So, you may have noticed we haven’t updated the app in a couple weeks. Keeks is taking some much needed time off.

“But not to worry … we’ve called upon Kim’s closest friends, fam and yours truly to serve up some exclusives. Stay tuned for new posts and app takeovers! Thank you so much for your support for my girl,” Shep’s hand-written note reads.

Aside from making a business out of her Instagram endorsements, Kardashian is also a tech entrepreneur who is behind the “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” mobile gaming app and subscription-based “Kimoji” app. (Read: Kim Kardashian net worth: How the Paris robbery will affect Kim K's fortune)

Filming of the reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians on E!" was temporarily suspended but the new season will air its premiere episode on Oct. 23.

On the season trailer, however, Kim K was still part of the drama. She was even caught on camera receiving Kris Jenner’s nagging.

“She’s so pissed that Kim was dressing Caitlyn Jenner for the ESPYs,” Khloe says in the trailer video. “Kim, you are a f–king traitor!” Kris yells through a phone call. “You’re not going to f–king play this game anymore!”
