Kim Kardashian West may be a fashionista, but she’s also very heavily pregnant. Now that her usual sky high stilettos are no longer comfortable nor practical, she has decided to switch them up with a pair of very expensive rubber sandals.

E Online shared photos of Kim and her hubby Kanye West, while on a double date with Kim’s mom, Kris Jenner and her beau, Corey Gamble, last Sunday. Even though Kim opted for flat rubber sandals, it doesn’t necessarily mean that she dressed down for date night.

The pair of rubber footwear is reportedly manufactured by high-end fashion brand Givenchy and costs US$300. Despite the unconventional footwear, the rest of Kim’s outfit still carried her signature Kardashian style. She wore a body-hugging black dress, with a matching jacket and dark sunglasses.

Kim’s husband and their dinner companions also wore black for the family outing. Kanye kept it casual with a black t-shirt and pants, while Kris wore a black hoodie to match her boyfriend’s black zip-up jacket.

The foursome enjoyed a meal at Bandera Restaurant near Brentwood, California. The restaurant is famous for Southwestern food and nightly live jazz entertainment. The adult date night came just after Halloween, when Kim dressed her daughter up as Queen Elsa from the animated film, “Frozen.”

Kim didn’t let her pregnancy stop her from dressing up for Halloween. Instead of going all-out with a sexy ensemble, she chose to choose a witty approach to Halloween by dressing up as herself. She wore a highly-criticised Givenchy dress that was first seen during the 2013 MET Gala, when she was pregnant with her first child.
