When it comes to discipling one's kids, parents know the best ways and means. For Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, spanking is definitely not the way a parent goes about discipling one's child. The reality star and her rapper husband are not in favour of using any physical force or harsh punishment with their child North West if she ever needs to be disciplined, reveal new media reports.

Like any other child, baby Nori too throws tantrums and misbehaves but Kim Kardashian reportedly uses no-spanking policy in their household and applies the approach of time outs and taking away her favorite toys, according to Hollywood Life.

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star is very much influenced by her elder sister Kourtney Kardashian who never uses spanking with her children, Mason and Penelope. Kourtney, who is once again pregnant with her third child, has very well-behaved children, reports the website.

Kim's husband rapper, Kanye West, however, believes that North West can "never do anything wrong" and hence there will be no need to punish her ever. The Kardashian-West family's child-discipling skills were noticed by media after Kim's ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush made a controversial statement on disciplining her own 1-year-old daughter, Briseis.

"I most definitely discipline my daughter. [I] definitely will try to obviously not leave bruises or anything like that on her," said Reggie in one of his recent interviews, according to Mirror. Kim's ex however also made his stance clear that he has never spanked his daughter.

The issue of spanking or physically hurting one's child to teach him discipline came into news after Minnesota Vikings player Adrian Peterson got suspended from playing in NFL for causing hurt to his 4-year-old son while disciplining him. Peterson was also dropped to appear in Nike's endorsements and advertisements for his actions. There were visible injury marks on his toddler son's arms and thighs.

"I caused an injury that I never intended or thought would happen. I know that many people disagree with the way I disciplined my child. I also understand after meeting with a psychologist that there are other alternative ways of disciplining a child that may be more appropriate," said Peterson in a statement.
