Kim Kardashian's Body Does Not Look Normal, 'Appalling' Role Model For Girls, Defense Minister Says
A British Conservative defense minister said Kim Kardashian is not a good role model for young girls. Not because of her recent activities, posing naked and all, but because her body looks "not normal."
Kim Kardashian is an "appalling" role model to young girls and women because her body is "not normal," a Tory minister stated. According to Anna Soubry, the minister, she herself has become quite obsessed with the reality star for quite some time now and read news about the social media star every single day to catch up on Kim's activities and escapades. But the more she reads, the more unimpressed she is with how Kim Kardashian's body looks like and now think she should not be treated as a role model by young girls. She shared to BBC Radio 4's "Today" programme: "I think she's the most appalling role model. This is somebody who young girls, women apparently have a role model for to aspire to who has got a body that in my opinion is not a normal body."
Kim would not be surprised to hear this but would most probably not agree that her body cannot be a "role model" for girls. She said in an interview with Elle Magazine's "Confidence" issue that she was not always confident. She was not happy about how her body looked either. She said her body cannot be considered the body of a "role model" because it looks like nothing that was considered the norm when she was growing up. She said it took her a long time to be happy with what her figure looks like and for her confidence to grow to the level it is today. She shared that she grew up thinking that "tall, slim, supermodel one, like Cindy Crawford's" was the body to have. She said nobody looked like her, so it is great to break the mold and recreate a new type of body that could serve as a "role model" for girls.
Kim previously received praise from another celebrity. Latina actress and singer Demi Lovato had once said she loves Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian because they "completely revolutionized" what the current generation view as beautiful or sexy.
