Kim Kardashian's Whirlwind 'Reality' Marriage, Already on the Rocks?
Two months in the marriage and already, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries seem to be on the verge of calling it quits.
The high-profile couple's wedding was a lavish, $10 million affair in August, but apparently their marital bliss did not last for very long.
One would not expect money to be an issue in a Hollywood relationship, but reports say it is cause for concern in the reality couple's household. The current NBA lockdown means Humphries is essentially unemployed, and his extravagant lifestyle has left Kardashian less than thrilled.
Kardashian, 31, is beginning to resent having to work nonstop - for a whirlwind of endorsements, promotional appearances, among others - while her 25-year-old husband is constantly out partying with friends, spending her hard-earned money.
"She told him he needs to do something productive," a source said in an interview with US Weekly. "The work ethic in that (Kardashian) family really means something. He needs to get off his (bleep), like, yesterday."
Even sister Khloe Kardashian confirmed Humphries is not finding it easy to incorporate his life with the close-knit family. "Settling into the Kardashian clan is no easy task," she admitted in an interview, although she is quick to deny rumors of Humphries not getting along with their brood. "I think he's a really nice guy, and he loves her."
According to Hollywood Life, Humphries has repeatedly apologized to his wife for his actions even going so far as to beg her not to leave him.
Despite the repentance, the basketball star has reservations about their marriage as well. Insiders say Humphries is sick of the reality television life.
"Kris wants out of filming," a source claimed in Life & Style. "They've had no time without a camera."
Their wedding was television gold, featured in a two-hour E! special, and even the honeymoon that followed had them followed by a camera crew. They sold the rights for their honeymoon photos and story to US Weekly for a whopping $200,000. Most recently, most of the time the couple has spent together was for the next season of "Kourtney and Kim Take New York".
