Their wedding day looked like a fairytale but sadly it didn't have a "happily ever after." Kim was reported to have filed for divorce last Oct.31 citing "irreconcilable differences" to husband Kris Humphries. The two got married last August and is now facing turmoil after their 72 days of marriage.

Some fans and spectators believed that the marriage won't last long while some had their hopes up that it might turn into a long year of happy marriage. But keeping a marriage under the Hollywood spotlight is harder than it seems and so the Kardashian-Humphries marriage has led to this point. What could have been the reason why the marriage was short-lived? Here are 5 probable reasons.

Kris's partying and sarcastic ways.

Kris Humphries is a 26-year-old basketball superstar. What do you expect from a young, rich, and famous sports guy? Kim is 31-years old, not too much age difference but it could be a factor. Kris ways might not be in favor of Kim's. The two reportedly had a huge fight after appearing at the "Jay Leno" show. Before that there were rumors that Kim cannot stand Kris' behaviors.

Kris a playboy?

A source said that after their appearance on "Jay Leno" the couple had a huge fight. The source added that Kris admitted his faults and kept apologizing. Kris even begged Kim and asked the reality star to not leave him. The basketball star said he will never look at another woman again if Kim stays with him.

Hard to keep up with the Kardashians.

The Kardashians is unlike any normal family inside and out of Hollywood. Based on their reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," settling in with the family is not easy and would require transition. "Kris is so different from the Kardashians. I don't know what will happen," a friend of the couple said.

Kim is much of a reality star than a wife.

Every move of Kim, she has a camera following her. When she's not, paparazzi are sprawled all over her. On top of that, Kim keeps a busy schedule and Kris might not be able to take it. Her husband said he wants to be able to spend time with his wife and away from the cameras.

Kris doesn't want to be her "little TV husband."

A source tells that the two have no time without a camera following them. Kris wants out of filming. The source said that Kris even told Kim that he will only be her "little TV husband" for a few weeks. He might have signed in for it when he signed the marriage contract but lack of privacy might have weighed in on Kris.
