Kim takes Kanye's Name, Kris Jenner Calls Kanye the Best Dad in the World [VIDEO]

Kris Jenner went on the record on the Today Show and declared that Kanye West is awesome.

"He's the best dad in the world!" she gushed about the rapper who isn't exactly famous for his polite behavior.

Perhaps the birth of his first child with Kim Kardashian has done wonders to his personality? Kanye is rarely seen on the reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and neither is baby North so these little insights that are revealed by momager Kris are a rare look into the couple's family life.

The West family are living with Kris in the Jenner family home while their own home is still under construction. The setup seems to work since Bruce Jenner has moved to his own house in Malibu after the pair got separated and Kendall Jenner has also moved out and acquired her own apartment.

The hosts asked Kris about the living situation and she said that because everyone is so busy, she can hardly keep track of everyone even if Kim and Kanye are living in her house.

"Yesterday morning I was walking out the door to catch a plane at 4 o'clock in the morning, and Kanye was rolling in from New York. I'm like, I can't keep track of everybody!" she said.

She explained that the living situation allows her to see what kind of parents Kim and Kanye are, hence her declaration that he's the best dad.

"I never would have guessed that the two of them would have just had this little girl wrap them around her finger. It's been so wonderful to watch, just the way that they've taken on to being parents, it's been so amazing," added Kris.

Kris, being a mom of six kids herself, four with first husband Robert Kardashian and two with Bruce Jenner, will soon have to deal with an empty nest when Kim and Kanye move to their new home. Kylie, her youngest daughter will be the only one left with her in her sprawling mansion.

Kris also shared details about the recent Kimye wedding and how Kim screamed when she realized that it was Andrea Bocelli singing as she walked down the aisle and not a recording. Kris further reveals that Kim will be taking Kanye's name and will now be called Kiim Kardashian West.

When asked about the issue regarding her son Rob, who abruptly left Paris before Kim and Kanye's wedding, she declined to comment and just praised him to be such a sweet child.

Kourtney, who is reported to be pregnant with her third child with boyfriend Scott Disick is currently shooting a spin-off with sister Khloe called "Kourtney and Khloe take the Hamptons" which is being produced by Kris Jenner.
