Currently in Snowdonia, a region in North Wales, to film his upcoming movie “Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur,” Charlie Hunnam is set to reunite with “Queer as Folks” co-star Aidan Gillen (“Game of Thrones”) in Guy Ritchie’s Arthurian tale remake. Now becoming as one of Hollywood’s leading star, the actor made once said that he has been swaggering since he was 14 years old.

While promoting his movie “Pacific Rim” with director Guillermo del Toro, Hunnam admitted that his experience in his hometown in Newscastle helped him bring out the swagger in him. During an interview, the actor revealed the story behind his famous “Geordie walk” as he plays Raleigh Becket, a pilot of a giant robot Jaeger that goes into war against the futuristic monster Kaiju.

"People from Newcastle are called Geordies, and where I grew up was a battleground," the 35-year-old actor told USA Today. "If you couldn't fight, you were dead. The walk was almost like the warning — an attempt to project 'You fight me, it's going to be all bad for you.' I've been swaggering since I was 14 years old!"

Hunnam turned 35 on April 10 and recently wrapped up his FX biker drama series “Sons of Anarchy” in December where he played SAMCRO’s president Jax Teller. Now moving on from his TV role to his big screen role, the actor is set to play the young King Arthur opposite Eric Bana (“Deliver Us From Hell”) as Uther Pendragon, Jude Law (“Sherlock Holmes”) as the villainous Vortigern and Astrid Berges-Frisbey (“Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides”) as the Arthurian love interest, Guinevere.

Meanwhile, Hunnam is one of three actors that were considered as potential Best Drama Actor nominee for the upcoming Emmy Awards. The two actors include “The Americans” star Matthew Rhys and “Downtown Abbey” actor Hugh Bonneville.

Based on the report, the three leading men currently have a “lowly 100/1 combined odds at the Golden Debry,” a website that predicts showbiz awards and reality TV shows. Other leading actors in the prediction chart include John Hamm (“Mad Men”), Jeff Daniels (“The Newsroom”), Terence Howard (“Empire”), James Spader (“The Blacklist”) and Michael Sheen (“Masters of Sex”).
