The famous band responsible for hits like "Use Somebody" and "Pyro" says they recorded a sex tape and it has gone missing.

Members of the band say the tape was shot back in 2008, where it featured all of the band members and several females. Caleb Followill, the band's vocalist, says their car was "broken into" and a lot of video footage got stolen, including the sex tape and their whole album recording process. "there's a couple of sex tapes on one of the tapes that got stolen, so that would have made it a little more interesting" says the rocker in a report posted at News.com.au. The stolen tapes are supposed to be used for the band's upcoming documentary entitled Talihina Sky, a semi-biographical film about the band's roots from Nashville, Tennessee. Talihina Sky will premiere at the Edinburgh Film Festival this coming weekend.

Unlike celebrities who'll panic at the thought of a missing sex tape, the band seems nonchalant about the whole fiasco. Aside from Caleb who's worried about what his family and Victoria's Secret angel wife will think, no one in the band seems to care about the tape. "Whoever's got the tapes really doesn't know what they got" says Nathan Followill, the band's drummer and brother of vocalist Caleb. "We don't really hold anything back, not many bands will show you the good, the bad, and the ugly" continues the drummer in the same news post.

Formed in 2003 by Followill brothers Caleb, Nathan, Jared and Matthew, Kings of Leon surprised the music industry with their 2008 breakout album Only by the Night which included their most famous songs. Since then, the band has gained much acclaim for their music and sold millions of records worldwide. Their latest album Come Around Sundown, was given 8 out of 10 stars by Clash reviews.
