The price of being beautiful and famous is high for Hollywood actress Kirsten Dunst. There is clearly a fine line between being a normal fan who simply adores a celebrity to being an obsessed stalker.

It is good to know that Kirsten does not need to worry about her crazy stalker for another three years. Her French "fan" has had his restraining order renewed by the courts and he is ordered to stay away from Kirsten and not attempt to contact the actress.

Superior Court Judge Carol Boas Goodson issued the order against Jean Christophe Prudhon, of Dijon France, after a Monday hearing in Los Angeles. The order also protects Kirsten's mother, whom the guy allegedly confronted in an attempt to get in touch with the lovely actress.

TMZ ran a story last month about the court issuing a temporary restraining order against Jean Christophe Prudhon. He is the guy who has been stalking Kirsten by sending her dozens of letters, calling her directly hundreds of times and even admitted to sitting outside her home in his car ten times.

In letters filed with the court, Prudhon wrote that he sold his home in France so he could travel to meet the star even though she has not responded to more than 50 letters that he has sent. Well, talk about obsession here.

The "Spider-Man" star did not attend the proceedings but wrote in a sworn declaration that she is frightened of Prudhon after he recently tried to reach her at her mother's home.

After the release of the issued order against Prudhon, things are now looking up for Kirsten. Not only can she put her mind at rest about the French stalker. Dunst even scored herself the Best Actress award by the National Society of Film Critics for her role in "Melancholia".
