If you are wondering if there are any celebrities with weird resolutions for the New Year, then think of no other name but Kirstie Alley.

It was on the recent Ellen Degeneres show that the reality star said she is to start dating ugly men for the New Year. At 60, Alley was asked about her love life by the host where she became honest that she has been dating the 'player' and 'psycho' types lately. Hence, the comedic host made a suggestion of trying for the opposite characteristics of who she is used getting attracted to.

With this, it came like Eureka to her that to date ugly men would be the solution. She said that she has always been used to going for very good looking guys and hence, it would surely make a difference if she would go for the unattractive men this time around.

It was in People magazine when the actress last mentioned that she is still very hopeful in searching for love even if she has been divorced twice in the past. Aside from new love, Alley also wants a tattoo and an Aston Martin as well.

Ellen may not be able to get the veteran actress a brand new car but she had a tattoo artist waiting to service Alley with the ink. Alley chose to have the initials of her two kids' names inked on her skin.
