Kobe Bryant says that his mum has stolen stuff from his home. The NBA superstar is claiming in his countersuit against an auction house that Pamela Bryant has no right to sell his memorabilia to them because she only stole them from him.

Goldin Auctions have purchased some of Kobe's basketball memorabilia - including his 1998 All Star ring, a 2000 All Star game signed ball, trophies, varsity high school letters, and jerseys - from Pamela, who received an advance payment of $450,000.

Pamela allegedly told the auction house that Kobe gave her all those things to her five years ago. But Kobe is refuting her claims, saying that he is the owner of all his stuff. He wants Goldin Auctions to cancel the auction.

The auction house doesn't want to part ways with their newly acquired goodies, though, so they have filed a lawsuit against Kobe, asking a judge to declare his mother the owner of his stuff, according to TMZ.

Naturally, Kobe will not give in without a fight. He countersued the auction house, claiming in his legal documents that his mother just stole some of the items from his home and refused to return them and other items to him.

TMZ reported that Kobe wants a judge to shut down the auction of his items and return them to him.

Apparently, the legal mess that they are in right now started over the mother and son duo's disagreement over money.

Sources told the U.S. gossip Web site that Pamela was furious because she felt that Kobe has given Sofia Lane, his wife Vanessa's mother, a more expensive home. He had put Sofia in a $3.2 million mansion, but when that was sold, he moved her to another multi-million dollar house.

Kobe allegedly offered his parents a less expensive house in Vegas that is only less than a million dollars. His parents wanted something more expensive, but Kobe refused. That's when Pamela got mad.

The Los Angeles Lakers baller was upset because he has given his parents homes, cars, and millions of dollars in cash, but it's still not enough for his mum.

Pamela will allegedly use her advance payment from the auction house to buy a new home.
