Jason Russell, the co-creator of the viral "KONY 2012" campaign has made anther viral video for himself after he was seen having a public breakdown, cursing and running around naked on the streets San Diego.

Before he was detained in San Diego, Jason Russell was also accused of vandalizing cars and masturbating in public. Not a very good impression if you want to make a global difference.

Russell, who calls himself a Christian and the co-founder of the non-profit group, Invisible Children, made himself famous when he released the "KONY 2012" video which aims to stop Joseph Kony and save the Ugandan children.

The video itself is nearing 83 million views. To this date it has gathered enormous support from the public and even famous celebrities like Rihanna and Angelina Jolie. However, a project like this is never without opposition.

Last week, the San Diego Police Department stated that Russell was only in his underwear and was acting very strange. They were highly suspicious that Jason was under the influence of something.

According to his wife, Danica, her husband wasn't doing drugs or drinking alcohol, rather his breakdown was due to the criticism the "KONY 2012" has attracted.

In a statement released by Ben Keesy, the CEO of the Invisible Children, he said that Jason was hospitalized due to exhaustion, malnutrition and dehydration.

"Jason Russell was unfortunately hospitalized yesterday suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, and malnutrition. He is now receiving medical care and is focused on getting better. The past two weeks have taken a severe emotional toll on all of us, Jason especially, and that toll manifested itself in an unfortunate incident yesterday," Keesey on his statement said.

"Jason's passion and his work have done so much to help so many, and we are devastated to see him dealing with this personal health issue. We will always love and support Jason, and we ask that you give his entire family privacy during this difficult time," Keesy added.

TMZ recently released a video of Russell on the pavements of San Diego, running around naked, swearing to himself and shouting. As many supporters the foundation have gained since they announced their campaign , it's expected that their count might drop due to another video going viral starring none other than the man who started it all.
