Brighton-based British rock band The Kooks have announced their Australian tour, which will kick off in January next year. They will be supported by Dunedin, New York-based pop/punk three-piece

noise-rockers Die! Die! Die! On their tour. Both the bands will promote their new albums "Listen" and "SWIM" respectively.

The Kooks will kick start their Aussie tour from Perth's Belvoir Amphitheatre on January 17, before heading to Sydney's Hordern Pavilion on January 20 and Brisbane's Riverstage on January 23. The six-member boy band will also perform in New Zealand and their first performance is scheduled in Auckland on January 15. The boys will wrap up their Aussie tour at Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne on January 24, 2015.

The Kook tour also includes an 18+ appearance at Perth's Belvoir Theatre on January 17. Other all ages stops for the band include Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. This will be their first Australian tour since 2013 when the band appeared at Groovin' The Moo festival.

The band will be promoting the release of their fourth full-length studio album titled "Listen," which was released on September 8. The lead single from the album is titled "Down" and it was released on April 20. "Listen" is also the band's first album with their new drummer Alexis Nunez and debuted at No. 16 on the U.K. Albums Chart.

The Kooks are popular in the music industry for their hit song "She Moves in Her Own Way" and "Ooh La." The band released their debut album "Inside In/Inside Out" in 2005.

The Kooks will also be joined by Sydney-based band The Griswolds who have come out with their debut album "Be Impressive." The Welsh indie-rock four piece Catfish and The Bottlemen will also make their Australian debut in the concert of The Kooks.

The band's fans can start buying the tickets for their 2015 Australian tour from Friday, October 3. Meanwhile, check out their itinerary below.
